No VDD sweep

Lens shows no error code on screen for this message; E-NO-VDD-SWEEP is this documentation's name for it. Quote it when you contact the Lens team.

What happened

In Corner Sensitivity, the left plot shows No VDD sweep.

Likely cause

The rail selected in Rail has the same voltage in every scenario of the active slice.

The voltages come from the Fusion Compiler report_pvt report, which Lens joins to the PrimeTime constraint_PBA results by scenario name.

Fix

Do one of these:

  • In the toolbar, pick a different rail from Rail, one that actually varies between your corners.
  • Apply a V-sweep slice, for example with Apply V-sweep (most data) in the F · Actions card.

If that does not work

When a plot has only one unique value on its X axis, an overlay explains why and suggests a rail with more unique points, if one exists.

The V slice and T slice selectors are disabled in Mixed mode.

If no rail varies at all, your scenario set has a single voltage per rail, so there is no voltage sensitivity to plot and no slice will create one. The overlay then says, for example, Only 1 unique VDD for VDD. Try rail … or Mixed view. Switch to Mixed view to see WNS across all the corners at once, with temperature and process allowed to vary (its banner reminds you that this is not an apples-to-apples sensitivity), or add runs at other voltages to the build.

If none of this helps, contact the Lens team through the channel you were given with your access to Lens, quote E-NO-VDD-SWEEP, and include what the screen said.
